Default coolant bypass

so i just did the coolant bypass taking the throttle body out of the coolant loop, didnt really notice much gains but i will say that it was easy and coupled with the throttle body spacer and gaskets im sure it will yield results. no pics but here is link for how to do it.

Default Re: coolant bypass ("Ridge"Racer)

I have the coolant bypassed on my SHO's TB, keeps the intake runners ice cold in the winter, as opposed to toasty hot. Not sure if it yields any HP gains but it can't be half bad, but it is a known power mod on an LS1, yields quite a few ponies on that big motor.
