Question on these rear braces
I'm more than likely going to purchase both of these rear items.
I'm getting a really good deal on them and I'm just getting them for a clean look in my trunk.
However, I'm wondering if these serve any real suspension purpose.
I've searched on some topics, and cant seem to find an answer.

How is having a bunch of bars in the trunk "clean"? It reduces room in the trunk, designed to hold stuff.
Try searching for "trunk bar" and "strut bar". They aren't worth the money. They look like they "tie" the chassis together and "brace" it against itself, but the truth is they do nothing of the sort on these cars. A strut bar works well on macpherson suspension cars, which your car isn't. A rear swaybar would be a much better investment if you're looking for affordable suspension mods that actually help handling.

I was wondering the same thing.
An empty trunk with clean carpeting looks "clean." A bunch of useless bling tubes looks silly.
A good deal? Not buying them at all would save you even more money, and you'd end up with the same functionality.

It can be argued that a rear upper shock tower brace would be SLIGHTLY more effective in a hatchback or wagon (like Integras) which do not have any sheet metal crossing between the rear suspension points, like a sedan or coupe does. A rear upper brace on a sedan or coupe is definitely pointless.
Having said that, the one I have is used mainly to keep my sub box in place. I only have it because it was free. It definitely doesn't look all that great.

The only reason I had a "strut tower brace" welded in as an integral part of my custom roll bar was to use it as a tire rack - it holds the race tires in place quite well on the way to the track.
Other than that, it serves no function other than to reduce usable trunk space.

i got mine free....so why not put it on. I agree with PIC, a rear sway setup is well worth mod, oem or aftermarket.
