Well my friend got his hands on a EF jdm cluster. HE has a 91 SI. The thing is that the speed sensor on his ef is cable and his cluster is electrical. Is there anyway on wiring it up to work properly????

 

I've seen people do electronic VSS conversions. I was thinking of doing it myself. I've had too many cables snap from age.

 

Might be a dumb question but what is a VSS conversion and how do u do that???

 

vss stands for vehicle speed sensor

 

I did mine with a 96 civic VSS. You should also get the 3-wire plug for the VSS and the wiring diagram can be found with the search button.

There is a how-to in the ef faq but the link is bad I believe. I have it printed out already I could give some info if you need it. I've done the conversion a few times. I have the cluster in my four door ef right now too. Do you have the plugs for the cluster?
