Today I installed my new head-unit, with a dash kit. My kit didn't fit very well, and it said it was for Honda but as well as many other vehicle makes.

Do you guys have any recommendations about a specific brand of kits? Before anybody asked I picked it up quick at Wal-Mart, thinking it would be half decent

I always liked the American International kits we sold at Best Buy, but FCM likes the Metra one better...

 

Wall-Mart sells Scosche kits, and their "multi kits" are POS IMO.

What is the MM&Y of your car? 94

 

Yeah, that's the brand I got, Scoshe.

It's a 94 Accord LX.

If you don't mind me asking, what is the 94 for?

94 is the year of my Teg, it is also my autocross number.

The one I bought also didn't have a pocket underneath it. The plastic looked like it was supposed to either be punched or it wasn't made right at the factory.

I'll find one of the Metra's and give them a try. Hopefully I'll have a better outcome
