Default new guys and need some help

hello, i had a 92 civic 4dr... had a nice paint job, rims and tints on it, it was stolen this past weekend and it was recovered yesterday.... my ignition was ripped out and my wires were in bad shape, they messed my paint job up, they stole my head unit,my sub and my speakers, they stole my cluster and my rims as well... id say its time to get a new car... i was looking at a del sol, i found one near me and i know the owner and hes willing to selll... im going to find out about the miles and price he wants tommrow.... i would just like ur guys opinion on the del sol, im not sure if its the d15b7 motor or the single vtec yet....

the price of the civic and del sol and pretty much the same. Suspension and Security should be some of the first things you'd wan to do to a honda. Layer the security, with kill switches, etc. Also, forced induction is a great way for increased torque and whp, even on a stock D series. IT can be just as reliable as well, it just need to get a proper tune.

And as far as exterior mods go...it's up to you. Just throwing some ideas ou there, but the B18b1 is a great engine. Cheap, and good candidates for boosting. Look on http://www.craigslist.org

That particular engine doesn't have vtec, but it's not a huge deal unless you really want it. Then there are the B16, b18, etc.
