What sensor is this?
37836-PH7-003 SENSOR, PA ...here is the p/n from honda. Its for an 89 crx dx. I have removed all heater and a/c components and this sensor is located on the passenger side near the glove box. I have tried starting the car with it unplugged and it idles fine but what is this sensor for? Can i remove it without it affecting the motor? thanks in advance

Atmospheric pressure sensor.
I removed it on my CRX a looooong time ago with no adverse consecuences. I live in FL = flat.
If you live where you change elevation regularly I would leave it alone
