ITB's size?
Im making my own DIY ITB's.
Everone i talk to say to use a newer gsx-r tb set.
Went by my step dads friends bike shop yesterday and just mentioned it to him.
he said i could technically use any 4 set of tb's from almost any bike just depending on what size mm throttle body im lookin for. place is pretty much a junkyard for bikes.
i got ls/vtec .50 12.5:1 compression. ctr head.
I have searched here and searched google but what size is too small of a throttle body?
i thought the other night i read anything bigger than like 41mm should be ok. by the looks of everything should be pretty easy to build a set. we just got a flowjet cutter at work so i can cut out flanges now.

just don't get anyhthing smaller than your intake port. like say your intake port has about a 42mm surface area, make sure the throttles you use are no smaller than that, because its restrictive. generally, bigger is better.
this was theinformation i was given when i was building my home-made ITB's. if i've been misinformed, i'm sure another member will not hesitate to correct me.
good luck with your build.

you don't have to cut your own flange. Just use the flange and first few inches of the runners from an old stock manifold, unless you just wanna play with the flowjet.
