Default Help Needed Please....

I have had a 93 civic ex sittin in my backyard for about a year now. I blew up the first engine on it last year around this time. Took it to the shop had a used z6 dropped in and had all my mods put back on.(V2,Pacesetter Headers,Exhaust, stage 3 clutch with 8 lb flywheel.). I then took it to school had them put on an msd rotor, cap, and wires. One of thee instructors accidently broke the green connector on my vtec solenoid. It just snapped off. I finally replaced it after finding one and the car still isnt right. It used to rev up and down on the cold mornings. Now i dont even drive it so i dont kno if it still does. I start it up and it idles really high. Around 1600-2000 rpm. The tech at the shop did in fact expletive wih the idle speed he tried to adjust it cuz it would drop real low and seem to wanna bog out cuz it would idle at around 240-500rpm. where is that screw to adjust the idle i never saw where he did it from. and as of now i have intake, headers, exhaust, clutch, flywheel, msd cap, rotor, plug wires, and a edelbrock intake manifold) do i need tuning or can i still adjust the idle in hopes that i can keep it running right. i still have a camshaft, valvesprings, retainers, and adjustable cam gear that i havent installed and this has been holding me back. i need help getting the car running right again plus another thing my fan doesnt seem to come on at all only when ac is running. where is the thermostat located? i need to check it to see if its operating. any input guys...im a noob on this site but im pretty familiar with my d-series ej1 coupe

it would help if your posted your problem/questions in order ie.
#1 idle problem
#2 where is my idle adjustment screw...
see if you have a fit valve under your throttle body/ intake mani. it has coolant lines going to it.Most likely cause of your flucuating idle
Your idle adjustment screw is located in the top section of your throttle body, don't mess with that until u get your flucuating idle fixed.
Although u do need to tune your car, this is not the cause of your problem. tune it when it's fixed

In order: 1: Broken Vtec Solenoid Connector(Green Connector)(Replaced last week finally)
2:Fluctuating Idle. Sounded like i wanted to race at every light.Vrooom Vrooom Vrooom(Doesnt rev up and down anymore but needle is not steady and still unneccessarily high)
3:Fan won't come on.
4:Doesn't seem to enter closed loop: prolly cuz i havent driven it in so long.

Well, for the idle, i had an idle hunt problem it could be the same thing, turned out the be IACV little plastic screw thing was loose (apparently this is a common problem)

Take the 3 10mm bolts out of the FITV (you don't have to take off the coolant lines). Then take off the 2 8mm bolts off the plate on the back of the FITV. Once the plate is off you will see a white plastic thing, screw that all the way in.

#3 fan wont come on
I had this problem before, im going to ask my friend why it was doing it and get back to you cause i cant remember exactly how i fixed it.

As for the thermostat
http://www.integra.orcon.net.nz/thermostat
all you need to know.

Hope some of that helps

theres groves in it for like a flat head(thats what i used) and just tighten it if it's loose... otherwise thats not the source of your idle hunt
