Default all motor build what setup to do??

i was going to build a b16 but atot of guys say dont do it the thing is i have 3 b16a short blocks right now siting here and they say to do b18c for beter numbers. is this true i dont want to sleave my build cost to much for me. i was looking for 11or 12 to 1 cr pistons and good rods other than that ill be using a 2000 si b16 head with gsr cams so far thats what i've got so will the gsr with 11.5 to 1 cr be that much healthier than a b16a with the same compression ratio's?? i've got direct port for it too...

so you guys tell me

b18c1 high comp.

or

b16a high comp.

thanks

Sell the 3 blocks, get a b20 or ls, block and use a gsr or b16 head, do a search for bambams "how to build a realiable lsvtec" start from there. Good luck

more displacement...go with the 1.8 liter block, especially if your staying all motor. A b20 is even better. Then if you want more, put a stroker crank in there!

Look at the fastest na guys, not many b16s.
