is this to much for a 2002 type s
i paid about 16.5 for my 02 NHB with exactly 40k miles. bone stock no aspec. go test drive it and see if anythings wrong other than that it looks like an ok price. u might be able to go down lower
Whoever owned that car appears to have modified it, so look at it close.
If it's an Acura dealer, make them put all of the OEM badges back on the car.

Don't look at the retail value.. look at trade in and get a price off that for negotiation. Also since it's been modified make sure you take that off of pricing and don't let them say "we are losing money because it has these modifications done to it" That's a line of BS and has nothing to do with selling the car since it is no longer OEM. Make sure you check everything out, brakes, power steering everything.

as far as mods it has a Zero1000 Power Chamber intake and Top Fuel Zero 1000 Exhaust and thats about it. it does come wit a warranty but its not an acura dealer tho
Use the mods against them. We all know that only 10-20%% of the aftermarket parts are as good as OEM honda (and I doubt the 'top fuel' stuff is). Tell them you'll have to spend $$ putting the car back to stock.
It's not like it is a $3000 Civic. You're spending almost $13K.

i paid 12 flat for my 02, 82000 miles, but i had to do a little work (p/s pump) go drive it and see how it runs. Check these things: Clutch master cylinder for leaks, listen to the motor for valves tapping (not to be confused with the injectors sound), and tranny grinds
I have a 02' Milano Red Type S with 51k for $12k out the door-tax tag and title. Btw, make sure you check out 2nd and 3rd gear. It's been an ongoing issue with DC5's. See if you feel a "crunch" when you go into these gears. if so, talk to the dealer about getting the tranny fluid changed before you buy it. It can be a deal that you work out with them since the car is modded.
i paid 6500 for my 02 with 84k miles but the secon gear syncro was out the dealer i got it from wanted mor and they where going to fix it but i bought the part at my cost price because i own my own shop and it only cost me 200 to fix it and the dealer wanted 14900 for it if they fixed it
