Whoever owned that car appears to have modified it, so look at it close.

If it's an Acura dealer, make them put all of the OEM badges back on the car.

check the NADA price.
go to http://www.nada.com
and check out the price

here i did it for you

http://www.nadaguides.com/used...&nx=1
Don't look at the retail value.. look at trade in and get a price off that for negotiation. Also since it's been modified make sure you take that off of pricing and don't let them say "we are losing money because it has these modifications done to it" That's a line of BS and has nothing to do with selling the car since it is no longer OEM. Make sure you check everything out, brakes, power steering everything.

Use the mods against them. We all know that only 10-20%% of the aftermarket parts are as good as OEM honda (and I doubt the 'top fuel' stuff is). Tell them you'll have to spend $$ putting the car back to stock.

It's not like it is a $3000 Civic. You're spending almost $13K.

i paid 12 flat for my 02, 82000 miles, but i had to do a little work (p/s pump) go drive it and see how it runs. Check these things: Clutch master cylinder for leaks, listen to the motor for valves tapping (not to be confused with the injectors sound), and tranny grinds

if it has any modifications, you could probably talk them into a little lower of a price

I guess it all depends on quality of the car.

I paid 16k for my 03 ABP type S with 21000 miles with A-spec kit and spoiler.

I have a 02' Milano Red Type S with 51k for $12k out the door-tax tag and title. Btw, make sure you check out 2nd and 3rd gear. It's been an ongoing issue with DC5's. See if you feel a "crunch" when you go into these gears. if so, talk to the dealer about getting the tranny fluid changed before you buy it. It can be a deal that you work out with them since the car is modded.

I paid for $13,100 for my 02 rsx-s with 50k on the odometer. Car was pretty clean. I would definitely take a good look at that car because who ever had it before you probably didn't baby that thing.
