Default brake pad help

i have 02 acura rsx base model. i bought the pads from auto zone to replace the front and when i was putting them on; it seemed the caliper didn't want to go on. why is that?????? could it be the thickness???

you need to compress the piston. flat metal piece and a c-clamp will work

would i need to bleed the brakes too?

When you do your rear make sure you have the right tool.

you don't NEED that tool, you can use a large and wide screwdriver. that's what i did
