Default Rostoleum Hardness/Quality

I'm considering doing the 50$ paint job because well, I'm poor and it comes in my choice color, black. My main concern in doing this is the quality of paint. Will rostoleum be hard enough to stand up to wear and tear? How much of a difference is there between enamel and acrylic? If there is a serious wear and tear sacrifice, will one be able to negate that by putting on an acrylic clear-coat? Will it require regular repainting? Thx!

enamel paint in general are very hard and stick to metal well, which is good for 50's car with all metal body(which is what they use back in the day) but it's not the best paint for flexilble plastic like abs, polyurtherane.

um..you get what you pay for, an economy single stage paint job material will run you about 300 bucks, which isn't that much if you consider you have to do all the prep work anyways(which is time consuming)

look around, there's always weekend warrior in your city that can do paint job(just watch out scammer on CL) for cheap.
