Well, I finally got my act together and created some videos of my R. The videos are in Real format and you can right click and do a "Save Target As..." I also have 5 pics taken by a photographer at Sebring.

My car is a 2000 Type R with 15" Kosei wrapped with A032Rs. I use Hawk blues and Poterfield R4Ss. I have an AEM intake and a rollbar w/harness for safety. The car has about 24K miles and has about 3500 miles on the track and is still ticking.

The camera is a little shaky. I used the IO Port Racing camera mount. In my opinion you're better off using another brand.

I thought i recognized your car Adam. I was at the last Sebring event in May and will be doing the August event as well in my ITR. I think you and I were the only yellow ones there! on the website

Very nice pics and cool videos. I made a video that day as well, but it wasn't from inside the car. I did get some cool passes of you on the straight-aways. Too bad it is on VHS. Anyway, I might be doing the December event in my car, so maybe I'll see you then!

Hey Mike - I'll be at the Aug event as well. Hopefully you heard about the re-run so I will be at the Sat. event. I just uploaded a clip from taken during the rain which I could do without at the next event.

 

Jeremy, nice car. You definitely need to take that to the track. My car was actually f@#k-ed up when you rode in it. It turns out the new tires I had just put on were "out of round." The goods news is that I'm getting 2 new front tires for free since they were under warrantee. I'm sure they will be surprised when they see the wear on them from Sebring.

 

Yeah i heard about the new event that is on the 10th of August. I am probably going to be doing the two day event as i am sure you are

What exactly is "out of round"? Are those flat spots on tires, or are they something else?

 

Supposedly the tires were manufactured not perfectly round. So they could “never” be balanced correctly. I think the place I took them to just did not know what the hell they were doing. I know a lot of people who buy the P700’s and never heard of anyone saying they got a bad one, none the less two of them.

 

What up fellas, awesome pics, looks like a blast, I am also in Central FL, in orlando now, but born and raised in Tampa. I drive a 99 GSR with basic bolt ons and suspension mods, my friend here in Orlando has the exact same car with essentially the same mods, he is on this board as well(MikeSarr). We are both about ready to start taking our cars to some track/roadcourse days. What are you a member of, is it Chinmotorsports? My friend and I have actually met and talked with the founding members of Chinmotorsports (Wei-Shen Chin and Vincent Howard) before here in Orlando after we ran into them coming back from Sebring last month in their AWESOME NSX's. Anyways, just figured I'd drop a hello to you guys, I'm sure we'll end up seeing you around sometime soon. IM me if any of ya want to meet up and drive sometime. Well, 'till then c-ya.

Yeah I belong to Chinmotorsports (www.Chinmotorsports.com). It's a great organization which allows novices and the people are very friendly. I've also been to SAFE events, but they are more for experienced drivers. I also learned of http://www.performance-drivers-club.com, but have not been to one of their events yet. You guys can show up at Chin's events and go for rides if you'd like. Its $20 and bring a helmet. Like I said the people are nice and if you ask they will most likely take you out for a spin. Unfortunately, then you will be hooked.

Driver plays a key role in passing on a track.. a lot more than the car.
