Default Moonroof problem 89 crx si

When the switch is pressed you can hear noise from the motor, and you can see the round allen key thing in the roof turn, but the moonroof panel does not move. Also it seems that when going down the hwy the panel wants to lift up a bit.

Anyone have any experience with this or know how to fix this?

Where do I start.

when that happened to me it was that the arms connected to the motors were broke so it wouldnt open or close the panel. well actually close since mine moonroof was stuck partially open. just use the allen head thang to open the moonroof a bit so you can see in under the moonroof and see if the arms or maybe the bolts are broke or stripped if they are or you find something else is wrong then just take it apart from there. if it wont open or close that way then one of the two is wrong. dont try to take it apart through your headliner it wont work that way. but if you find that you need any part of the moonroof assembly let me know i have an extra. good luck
