Stealth install del sol?
Where would you put a stealth install in a del sol? I'm looking at one of the clifford systems and adding their blackjack option (Killing ignition remotely).
Also, suggestions for good spots for kill switches in del sol? Most of the ones I've seen are in the back seat, which the del sol has none of.

Honestly from my research the remote ignition kill just makes stealing the vechile easier compared to not using. Instead i would highly reccomend a fuel cut instead, you can also use this through the remote (or have a 25a manual switch instead) just check out suspended hatchs' web page in the FAQ..... https://honda-tech.com/zerothread/2058878
as for the location of the alarm brain, i havent had any experience with the del sol interiors but behind the cluster could be an ideal location im not sure.

I was planning on doing (Or actually having help doing, not too good with electrical stuff) the stuff on hatch's page. Not sure where I will stick the switches, since the cab is so small. Also thought about putting the switches in a panel of 5 or so, with only a couple of them being "live wired".
Just not sure where to put everything

Care to elaborate on this "research"?
I know I've put kill switches in a couple of Del Sol's. I vaguely remember doing one in the center console area and another I think behind the hood release handle. Just dig around the car, I'm sure you'll find somewhere.
You can stealth install the alarm in the rear quarter just like any other 2 door Honda/Acura. It may look a little different, but everything looks the same on paper.

are you talking to me?... i just remember reading that it was actually easier to steal a car with a starter kill than without, reason being the wires have already been identified under the dash for the thief.. idk, maybe it was on the causeforalarm.com?

I was thinking of doing a row of 5 switches in the lockable glove compartment box right behind the passenger seat, with only the necessary 3 wired up. Something like switches 1, 3, 4 are live and 2 and 5 are not, and reversing the direction every other one. That way even if they unlock the compartment and find the switches, the odds of them getting the right combination of on/off is remote.

You said "remote ignition kill" in other words my engine bay ignition kill.
Reading my site or any site or forum isn't research. I'm very biased, I'm not a first hand source, and everything I say is based on hearsay and conjecture. Even when I refer to my personal experience, that's just one person's experience.
Sorry to bust your *****.

I've got my kill switch on the top of the inside of my change drawer in my integra.
The key to any truly effective security system is layers of protection....personally, I'd put in both...kill switch and fuel-cutoff
