Default Painting Valve Cover

I have a valve cover that I want to repaint, the black powder coating (or whatever it is) is flaking in places. What's the easiest (or best) way to strip the stock paint job off so I can repaint it?

I think the spray can sucks but if you get the container it works better I used that and a tooth brush to it works real good in corners

get the can of paint remover (not the spray). brush it on and let it sit for a while (20-30 min) then hit it with a power washer. may have to do it a couple of times.

best of luck with your project.

yea i havent used the air craft remover but i used some generic brand from autozone that wroked pretty well. Just make sure you let it sit for a little while before you try to remove, and oh yeah wear gloves, it doesnt burn at first but then it hurts like hell and makes your skin peal kinda
