I finally got my first bike! w00t w00t
Yeah, so after a long time doing research, reading about good starter bikes, deciding back and forth betweeen many options, learning a lot in the process, deciding and finding good gear, knowing important tips about riding, and many other stuff, the day has finally come, the day when I got my first bike.
That day was yesterday.
I only knew the theory, never had practiced before, and it felt great to "ride" it a little in the parking lot, just practicing with the clutch and throttle, after a while I had the confidence to start turning and shifting, today I was already doing a 8 track in the parking lot, going slowly and always respecting the bike. I don't want yet to go out in the streets, where I live there are a lot of hills so I need to practice a little more how to start rolling, be a little more smooth.
So, /26 thanks. Many of you have played a important part in not getting me killed, I was one of those that wanted to buy a 600 for a first bike, didn't cared too much about gear and was completely clueless to bikes. Thanks for making me having an advantage on many other rookie riders out there.
Ride on /26, ride on
Of course, here's some pics...sorry for the quality, I just snapped them quick between riding sesions
Hahaha just kidding...here she is, a 2005 Yammy XT225, only 1900 miles
I got it plus some cash for my 90 Eclipse, and I'm really loving the trade. I wanted another style of bike, but since I wasn't gettting a lot of offers for the car, I decided to go ahead with the most serious customer. Maybe I will put it up for sale and buy a newer 250 or 500, or maybe I will keep it and buy an older Ninja 250 too, having both should be fun.
MSF? There isn't something like it in here, a total shame.
Gear? In the process of ordering...leather jacket, lid, gauntlets, boots, overpants and knee/shin guards
Insurance? In process also.
Tell me what you think

I know how you feel, this wouldn't be my first choice of bike either.
But opportunity knocked and I wouldn't wanted to miss it.

It must be a little dirt or something, I checked the bike through before proceding with the business and it was in great shape.

Thanks for the kind comments
If anyone knows where I can find a SuMo kit for this bike, it would be greatly apreciated...I've been thinking about doing a DIY kit, but I don't have too much knowledge on the matter and I really want to spend more time ON the bike than fixing her.

I already got little clutch wheelie yesterday. Not a wheelie per se, but the front tire was off the ground for a second, totally accidental

What is this model similar to in the US? The YZ series?
You could find used parts/kits on supermotojunkie.com or thumpertalk.com. But, worry about that later. Just get out and ride bro!
68%??? WTF?
