My '88 lxi won't crank
Three weeks ago I replaced the battery and terminal connectors because they were corroding and causing my car to randomly not start. After that it started beautifully every time until this morning after a heavy rain.
The car won't crank/turn over, but the dashboard lights work. Could it be just the starter, or the alternator, or more corroded wires? or all of the above?
This is just a week after I spent $200 replacing a rotor, 2 break shoes and 2 pads.
It has 160k
My car knowledge is noob-esque.

You are going to have to dig a little deeper, when you turn the key, do you get 12 volts to the small wire at the starter solenoid, you are saying the starter will not crank the engine. Are you getting a single click noise when you turn the key to the start position. You say you have dash lights, do the idiot lights go out when you go to the start position. Look at all your underhood fuses too.
