Is the reason you say boost because ZEX is cheaper, or because you don't like it? If I had 1000, I would buy a ZEX system, enterchangable, awesome power...But if I had 1700 I would buy a turbo.

sell current motor and buy a B16. you could pull off a swap for $1700:

motor/ trans/ ECU $1100

HCP mounts/ shift linkage $475

axles and rear integra mount adapter $150

if you sold your current motor you could pull it off.

$1700 is chunk change in a turbo setup, you still need a fully programmable engine management and a lot of tuning. set your car up the way it was supposed to be done from the factory: B16.

Lay off...there is absolute nothing wrong with asking opinions...plus if he is like me he may not have experience with either and therefore can't form an decisions with anyh educated thought at all....much like your post....

Anyways my vote is for turbo...I have a ZC Turboed and it rocks even though the turbo isn't running proper (only 4psi)...plus why would anyone want the hassle of having to fill a bottle every so ofter...I dunno how muc hit cost where you live but here in Kamloops, BC (canada) it costs 88 bucks.....that is like 8 fills and you just paid for the difference to the turbo and with the turbo you have so much more potential....I read this somewhere can't remember where but I bet alot of ppl have seen it

"You's be a FOOL to not SPOOL" neways thats my two cents

12s is fast

however a 12 second turbo car isnt too impressive.... fast but im not that impressed

this gu yi know ran 13.60 stock block ZC in an CRX... so i know they could be 12 second allmotor engines in lightened CRX's however ..... the dohc ZC IMO is poop... id rather have a sohc instead of a non vtec 75mm bore dohc1.6

okay nawwzz is cool....race me in my cx.... you will be real cool

get all **** about your ZC hahaha
any motor has potential thats why i said 99% instead of saying ALL.... :ha mmer:

get a b16 with hydro tranny and LSD. nothing will touch it plus you have a 100 percent reliable car. also if lacking a bit get N20

Boost and fuel management (Zdyne, J&S, fuel pump, and a DIY wideband kit).

Anyone voting for a B16A, have you ever looked at the power curve (as in torque). If you are building a drag race only car, sure, go ahead and get the B16A, then later add boost. There's a CRX here in CO making over 600hp with a boosted B16A.

If you plan to actually drive the car, don't waste your time or money on a B16A. The boosted ZC will be WAY more satisfying to drive.

Trust me. Look at my sig. Of those 4 cars, what do you think I drive the most? Here's a clue, both CRX's have comp. only and are sitting in the garage.

I don't hate the B16A, but I sure wish I'd gone with the bigger B to begin with. The B16A doesn't get out of it's own way until about 6500 RPM.
