Default Rear Strut Bar Clearence Issues

im in the process of putting my megan rear upper strut bar on and im having some slight fitment issues with it. it appears that the bar itself its just a TAD longer than the strut mounts, and the bolt that is suppose to go through the strut mount and the bar itself wont, because of clearence issues.

the pictures arent that great. but you can see in one of them what im talking about. i got the megan cuz i didnt want to spend $120 on a Cusco, and tanabe dont offer a rear strut app. for the accord, so i opted for this one. i dont wanna hack it up in the even it doesnt fit. then i wont be able to return it.
