Getting discoloration off of engine?

Default Getting discoloration off of engine?

My block and trans cases are discolored and look like crap, I would like to clean them up properly before assembly.
The hot tank that the machine shop used helped, but I would like the aluminum parts to look nearly new, without paint if possible.

any ideas?

youre gonna have to paint it.

use aluminum colored engine paint, it will look great.

not true glass bead blast will work itll look BRAND NEW just make sure if you have it done you gotta clean it super super thoroughly

and the best part is it wont come off....
