Default What a good shade of red you can recommend?

I am looking for a BC/BC solid colour red, something more like a cross between wine red and copper.

is Mica is solid color or it needs special prep/paint like pearl?

um..the closest i can find is copper red mica off the new MX-5

any recommendation would be nice.

Mica is a type of pigment used in pearls and metallic toners/ paint, so its not in solid colors. Pearls do not need any special, out of the ordinary prepping. Pearls can be single stage, base/clear or three stage. I'm not really into reds, especially solids. But I've sprayed some really nice looking darker metallic reds which I've only seen on rare occasions.
