I went to a shop and found a oem 96-98 lip (with part #) it is different from the normal ctr lip...

First picture doesn't work.

 

just looks like another CTR style lip

 

They look very similiar. The second picture look like ***. Maybe because it's silver.

The first pic one is like the factory option front or something, it's pretty rare.

It's not.

That's an OEM '96-'98 front lip, in the US it was only sold for '98 on the coupes. In Europe it's known as the Sport lip and also has an optional rear lip (for hatches).

This is the front lip that matches to the "'96-'98" coupe/sedan rear lip.

While this front lip is extremely rare in the US, it's fairly common in Europe. I couldn't tell you about South America.

I'll have more pics up soon.

Oh, and they all came in the stock colors from Honda. So the black primered one up there would have had to have been repainted.

I found one and picked it up right away. I won't tell you how much it cost, but I'll say more than twice what the rear lip cost me.

It's the only one I've ever seen in person and mine was brand new in the box.

So don't expect to find one and don't expect to want to pay for one unless it's the lip you've set yourself on.

Do you mean the hatch one? I have the coupe one.

Here is the hatch rear lip that matches.



I have the accessories manual which shows the front and rear lips (the rear lip pic is posted above in another post), but I can't get a clear pic of it.

Expect to pay the cost of the lip over again for shipping I'm trying to get some damn headlights from Zero9 ... and he got a shipping quote for 180 EU after customs.

No. Why would Honda make the exact same style AERO lip for two generations (withholding the OE black plastic underspoilers known as "SiR" lips)?

Not like these. Lips are always particular for just that generation. You're going to have to look for 5th gen lips.

And yes, customs will rack up that price if you ship one overseas. Eran and I have shipped some things back and forth and it's really pricey. Having one small thing shipped over might be able to be said to be a gift, but shipping over a five foot long box and saying it's a gift is going to be a bit of a stretch and possibly get you both (buyer and seller) into deep **** with customs officials.
