INLINEFOUR isn't the SOLE SPOON distributor as they claim.
I think INLINEFOUR needs to get their facts straight before they make these outrageous claims of being the SOLE distributor for SPOON. There is a shop called http://www.RACELINEdevelopment.com that has plenty of SPOON products and pricing that is much much lower than INLINE4. RACELINEdevelopment is another SPOON distributor that buys direct, so please dont believe the hype that inline4 builds up. PLEASE COMPARE YOUR SPOON PRICES BETWEEN THE TWO AND CUSTOMER SERVICE and you'll understand the reason for this post. Just trying to save you all some trouble and $$$$.
um, dont forget the other official distributors that are also sponsors of Honda-Tech, IPS Racing and R and D Motorsports. support the sponsors

I don't remember Inline4 claiming to be the sole distributor for Spoon. Is it in their ads? I didn't pay that much attention to the print. When I spoke to them, they just said that they were an authorized distributor, but never did they tell me that they were the sole distributor. They showed me a prototype of the ad before it went to print and it didn't mention anything about sole distributorship. They only told me that they will be pushing Spoon products much more now. I think if they specifically mentioned that they're sole distributors for spoon, than it's their wrong. But I've never seen that anywhere or heard them tell me (tho, I haven't picked up a car mag for a while).
i dont know about raceline its hard to get stuff from them
i dont really like their shop cause of bad customer service too
i ended up going to jdmhondaparts next door (when it was next door).

if you go to INLINE4's website, the first page says "SOLE UNITED STATES DISTRIBUTOR FOR SPOON SPORTS......BUY SMART BUY DIRECT"
If that doesnt say it, then i dont know what does. I will buy smart and not buy my parts from them. There are many other places that sells Spoon stuff for cheaper.
Like carbon parts, inline4 has it for $456.78, while other shops sell it for $385.
15" SW388s for $1730 while other places have them for $1530-$1550.
SPOON calipers for $1840???? that's crazy, you can get them for $1420 at other places...$400 extra dollars for what?? for the same product.
There's much more but i wont get into that...just dont want to see peoples hard earned dollars go to waste.

Who cares if he wants to promote his shop or any one elses. When it comes down to it if it saves you guys money than it's worth mention right?
spoon is not a waste of money. there is more research and time put into those products than most of us will ever see. spoon knows internal combustion better than we know how to walk. if you want to buy some cheap parts that are mass produced with profit in mind, go ahead. put your motor on the line when your cheap part fails. it will cost you more in the long run.

Tell you guys what.
Why don't those who swear by SPOON post up each SPOON product that is the best in it's own category?
Seriously I'd like to see what products, if any, are superior that are SPOON.

Well?

B18c5 has a point. I dont see Spoon quality being THAT much better then others. Tower bars? Cusco is just as good. Headers...yeah...they're nice...but twice as nice as Apex'i? or three times better then DC? I think not.

it honestly depends on the amount of money you have to invest. But dollar for dollar spoon is not a better alternative . We all know a $120 drop in filter is a quality investment, in comparison to a cai for the same price. Or the $300 cam gears
!!! not to mention the $550 throttle body, i couldnt get a ported prelude tb for cheaper! i understand the price reasons, and dont doubt that spoon can build a great engine, but the prices are outlandish!
