Saving yet another Poorly Maintained CRX...
So after I took a close look at my rust bucket of a CRX, I noticed that the previous owner just used bondo and screws as a cheap alternative to hide rust / nonfunctioning or broken parts, misleading me into thinking I was buying a "good condition CRX". Sadly, I was only 17 at the time and I had no knowledge about CRX's or cars in general, so the dealership took full advantage
Well I decided to strip everything down to the frame and start my own Frame-Up restoration. My main question is... how do I remove the rear quarter windows? Is the weatherstripping all that holds them in place?

you need to cut the urethane around the whole window. you may need to buy new weather stripping.
it might be in your best interest to pay an expert to remove the windows. they can do it in 5 min and have the right tools.

you have to pull off the window trim then cut the windows out, you will need to buy new trim the old one is probably kinda crusty anyway
also i learned tha hard way there is a small ten mm nut that is under the interior panels. it holds the trim to the body untill the urathane sets. if you dont' pull it out You'll break the window or at the least you'll ruin your trim.
