Anybody own a CRV?
I've asked about this in the truck forum but nobody ever reads it so here is my question:
Can someone take a picture or two of the back of a 2002-2005 CRV? I need a pic of the differential and its mounts along with the gas tank and the propeller shaft center support.

I'm sure you would need to do some hefty work to the transfer case, if that were the plan.

Yeah, with a lot of money, or welding/metalwork talent.

if you are around the auburn alabama area you might be able to hit my friend and I up for some fab help.. He works for a company that produces armored vehicles for the government and they let us use the equipment and bays sometimes after hours

you want to know why i have more faith in you? because you're actually doing your homework, and in a mature manner. the other guy claims he will get it done and claims everyone else (other then himself) is a "keyboard - mechanic."
anyways, good luck to you man, it'll require some fabrication to the chassis for sure but i'm sure if you purchase the whole rear assembly, the motor and transmission - you can get it to work.

Well I already know for a fact the engine/trans will fit, cause the CRV subframe bolts to the same holes the civic one does....the rear suspenison may have to be cut out of the civic and have the crv subframe welded in which isnt a big deal...It'd be sweet if it was a bolt in! haha
so do i.. i enjoyed reading this thread.. good luck to you man... does any1 remember that rwd integra with the h22??? reading this made me think of it lol it was in a magazine.. looked pretty cool

It would be pretty damn cool. You can do anything with money and the right engineering ingenuity, i hope it goes somewhere.
