Default exhaust bolts, help!

hey guys, new here.

so i have i/h/e setup and over the summer i dropped my car on tokico hp's and vogtland springs. well, the problem lies with my exhaust...its held together in the middle by i guess its called a "U" bolt. to hold the 2 pipes together (one that goes to cat and one that goes to the back.well, the bolts hang low and always scratch when i roll over something high enough. any ways to fix this? thanks for your help ahead of time.

btw its a Magnalow cat-back.

cut the bolts off so they are flush with the nut. i did this alot at the muffler shop when i worked there. it makes things look cleaner and should solve the problem. assuming they hang down enough to trim them

well typically in a u bolt you have the bolt then a 'plate' that goes between the two ends of the u bolt then there is a nut on each of the ends holding it in place. simply cut the bolt ends off so they are flush wiht the nuts. you could weld it all in place but its not necessary. before you cut them off make sure they are well tightened down

not jinxing you, telling you from my personal experience.

edwin and justin have had good luck with theirs but they've dumped serious $$$ into their motors.
