Hey all, I HATE the paint on my bike (kawi green with purple graphics). I want to paint it a dark silver with gold or black wheels.....I was going to use this process

what do you guys think? I have a few scratches and cracks in my plastics (I want to repair then repaint) what do you guys think?

 

Well, if you don't plan to ride during the winter it would definately make a good project to kill some time.

spray it with spray can truck bed liner, looks badass ands can take abuse

 

haha thanks everyone, Jon, your right theres no reason not to I just have to decide on a color now. I want to upgrade, but I like the fact that this bike is so cheap that I don't even worry about it yet its still fun. Hopefully in a year I will get a trackbike

Actually, I'm thinking about doing this to my girlfriend's FZR. She loves white, and that Ninja looks pretty good.

do it if you're bored, want to waste time, and money

otherwise sell the bike and buy a real one

Painting the bike non-stock colors could hurt your resale value down the road. But it's a Kawi 250, so maybe the price difference won't be that bad. Or, someone would want a 250 with a different paint job.

I'd keep the bike and buy myself a snazzy helmet.
