Hey guys the UPS guy dropped off my Buddy Club Spec III exhaust yesterday and I installed it asap. I have been driving with it for a day now and I love it, its a lil on the loude side but I can handle it. Anyways what do you guys think???

K so I finished gutting out the cat this morning Put my own home made o2 fix on it and put it in. While I was doing that I decided to cut off an inch off the male end pipe of my exhuast so I wasnt stiking out as much. Everyhting went pretty smooth And I am really happy with the results The exhaust dosent stick out as much anymore its where I want it to be plus I saved myself $100 cause I made my own testpipe. The o2 fix is working I dont have a CEL.
Test Pipe

My o2 fix(two sparkplug defoulers one drilled out so the o2 sensor fits)

The whole thing

The Exhaust (sorry for the crappy pics im stuck in my backyard due to construction work up my street plus the sun was hella bright messing up the pix)

What do you guys think??

I know but thats how all of them are my boy has one on his gpw and its the same way. It dosent bother me too much, its a two peice spring conected so I might just cut about an inch off of the male end and then i think it will look fine. But im scared if I do then Im going to get cabon all over my rear bumper.

You have a black car, the carbon won't show up much. Besides easy to clean.
I say you go ahead and cut an inch off.

it just sticks out a lil bit, perhaps you need to tighten it down a lil more? otherwise nice looking, cant wait for video
a lil big for my liking but its all good its single so i guess you have to make up for it by diameter

If you are making a home made test pipe, make it an inch or two shorter than the cat, that way you don't have to cut the exhaust and you'll be able to sell it down the road if you choose to.

well if you like glory holes leave it as is bu i wouldnt leave my tip out there for anyone to see.....then again someone might trip over it....
Bah, Its too long and too big. And frankly I don't like how single exhausts look on this car. The design of the car was for dual exhaust, unless you get an aftermarket bumper for it, it just looks wrong.`

^^^ I would have to disagree with you on that one. I like the singles alot I dont see the point of a dual on a four banger. And they make exhaust caps to cover up the extra hole. But to tell you the truth I like the way it looks Im getting used to it. Anyway thanx for commenting your opinion.

The easiest way I see to fix the length issue is like Papa said, since you're already making a test pipe for it, just pull it back abit.
And as for the block out caps, I stand by the statement that it doesn't look right unless you have an entirely different bumper. I know its totally opinion, but thats how I feel about that. That bumper was designed with dual exhaust in mind.

It looks awesome dude, especially since I helped you put it on. I don't know what everyone is talking about, I don't think it sticks out to far. Plus I have the same exhaust on my GPW and I don't want any carbon build up on my rear bumper. Especially when you finish gutting out that cat. I have a test pipe and there in a lot of carbon build up in the exhuast. Very nice.

I thought spec 3 was header back?
I also agree with everyone, it sticks out to far.
