i found a good deal on some snow tires on 13 steelies, just wondering if anyone knows if they'll clear the calipers. from searching i think ABS does not fit but non-ABS fits because of the bigger rotors on the abs brakes. any help would be appreciated.

i posted this in the wheels area but this gets more traffic and if possible i need a quick answer before i buy them today..

 

No, but you may be able to get them to fit if you use wheel spacers.

 

depends on the brakes you have. Some of the Sis came with 10'' rotors. Like a GSR or EX rotor. Some came with the regular 9'' civic rotor. I dont know if ABS nessacarily makes the difference. I know that ABS equipped cars' rotors are bigger. But maybe the Si had an option for bigger brakes without ABS. Measure your rotor.

10.xx'' = no 13s wont fit
9.5ish'' rotor = yes 13s will fit.

man, what a pain! yes i would rather not have 13s but it's a good deal for some snow tires so if they fit i may just buy them. i'll measure my rotors and see, thanks guys!

 

13"s will fit over the rear brakes but not over the fronts.
