I received my battery relocator kit from password jdm and I am having trouble with extending the positive cable for the battery. Can anyone help me or direct me to a write-up. Thanks

Use a longer wire or extend the current one with a little ditribution block or wiring connectors....it's pretty simple man.

Go to the electrical section of Home Depot and they have little blocks to connect wire. It's like a little metal block with holes on each end you stick the wire in (once you strip the rubber insulation off) and then a screw goes in on top to hold the wire tight and make a connection. Probably $3-4

is it true that when you splice wires, you lose power?

You don't really lose power but you do increase resistance.

There was a thorough discussion about this on ephatch.com. You would need to be a member to view it.

0 gauge is overkill. I'd go 4

Alright well heres a lil update on my relocator kit. I finally got it in just fine without having to splice or extend any wires. I will be sure to take some pics as soon as I get my camara. If you have any questions on how I did it then feel free to ask. Thanks everyone for your input
