The TL doesn't have any major problems.
Just make sure that they have changed the oil on a scheduled basis, as well as the required services.
It will most likely have rattles from the rear shelf subwoofer. Easy fix with a bit of foam-sound deadening.
The dash will have rattles. Loose center channel speaker.
The seat belt slider area and door will have rattles. Sound deadening.
Check if steering isn't hard to turn, the steering pump may be out, although it's pretty rare.
Make sure the shocks aren't blown, although it would be a good excuse for some coilovers.
If the person has tints, make sure the actual film doesn't have streaks. This means that you will need to reinstall new tint, along with moleskin.
Good luck!
