Default weird way to get a flat tire..

So I was riding along the local streets and some guy in a truck yells out "YOUR TIRES LOW" and I look down at my rear tire and realize its almost completely deflated.

This is the reason....

Basically the valve/tube on the tire was hanging by a thread... I'm talking about the valve that has a cap on it to keep the air locked in... Anyways I was desperate enough to try super glue hahah, but it didn't keep the air sealed in.

My question is, do I need to buy a new rear wheel or can I take it to some motorcycle shop and have them repair it (either by welding the valve back on so its air tight)

I have no idea how this happened to my wheel either.

Thanks for any provided information.

They can reinstall the valve or put a new one in.

it should cost less than a dollar to replace the valve. I'm sure it's not the wheel and it's probably an old valve. To replace it, you have to take off your tire and pull the valve stem from the inside of the wheel to the outside.

It's good practice to replace them every time you swap tires.

Me neither. Last time I was there, some nimrod on the mini-F1 cars jumped the start to catch his buddy, then took him out. Ended up ripping a wheel off the car, too. And knocking loose some tires from the barriers.

I've actually had that happen on one of my vehicles (forgot which one)...but yeah, they are designed to be replaced.

does that mean u had to completely replace the tire? if so, that does suck ***....

I fixed the wheel and it cost me ten bucks. The shop said it would take 15-20 min, but they freaking lagged it for an hour and 15 min hahah. oh well. atleast i can ride.
