Default Harness mounting?

Is there a way I can mount the harness to meet standars without taking out the back seats? Is there someway to get to the anchor point in back and still be able to leave the seats in? Thanks for the info...

**** the search, it sucks. I've heard there is an anchor point in the truck, and that the harness needs to be at a 45 degree angle to be legal. If this is true can the harness go between the back rest and seat and reach the mounting point?

I think that it's a <45 degree angle to the horizontal.

Thats what I meant, which would run it somewhere towards the trunk right? I've seen people just run them straight down the back of the seat and mount them to the floor but I wouldn't feel to safe doing that.

Also needs to be attached to a roll bar...

That's good, but you shouldn't feel safe mounting them without a roll bar either.

If you really want to do it, the mounting points you are talking about are for securing car seats for children and are located near the rear trunk brace. If you trust mounts made for children < 50 lbs...go ahead.
