89 Prelude - Will start, then won't start. Please Help.
I've got an 89 Prelude w/ 130k on it. It has a new cap/rotor, new plugs/wires. Ever since I got the car, about 50k ago I've had this unusual problem.
When the car is cold, I get in, and it starts right up. But if I drive around, make some quick stops, like running errands, and I get back into the car, it sometimes doesn't want to start. It will turn over, but just won't start.
Could it be the fuel filter, injectors or someting else?
Any help/suggestions would be great.

change your main pgmfi relay. it is attached to the side of your under dash fuse box. that is your problem. i have replaced mine twice now. the first time with a used on, this time with a new honda part. there are two different relays, so pull off the relay first, or at least take it down to see if it is a denso or mitsuba relay. then go to honda and buy a new one.
Thanks! That's great, I will look for it but is there any chance you have a picture of what it looks like. Or maybe you can describe it a bit more. I have not a clue.
Thanks!

take the coin tray that opens up to view the fuses out and you will see your underdash fuse box. directly to the left attached to the side of your fuse box you will see a small rectangular plastic box usually black or dark brownish colored. that is the main relay. it will say main relay right on the side of it, but you won't be able to see that until you take it off. it will also tell you what brand it is on the side. there are five or six pretty thick wires that go into the main relay (where it plugs into it).
