I have a D16Z6 head going on my car shortly, and recieved a Vtec solinoid for the head without the pressure switch, and the green wire that is part of the solinoid is less than an inch long. Where is that green cable supposed to go?, and is there any place that sells this switch cheaply as I already paid $40 for this paperweight.

I used to live in Fox Hollow in Warrenville, and the only yards close were Aurora Pick N Pull, and City Auto wreckers, Neither of which have any SI or EX's with their motors still in them last time I went like a month ago. Yard out by me is Yingling Auto Salvage, and everything thats not a D15B7 and is in a honda has been pulled and is gone.

any idea about where the green wire that comes out of the little canister is supposed to go?

 

Bump... Its a Y8 Head, will the Z6 Solinoid work still?

 

yes it should work, sohc solinoids are the same..
