Default I Need Help and Info on an Engine Swap...

I have a 1993 civic D15A7. My friend has a 1997 D16? I'm buying off him. I was wondering EVERYTHING I'm going to need to buy for the swap, to calculate costs and see if it's worth. I'm not exactly sure what engine he has but I don't think it's the VTEC. I'll find out ASAP and post if it would change anything i'd need. If anyone could get me and extensive list of parts I will need. New CV's, motor mounts, harness... Everything, it would be much appreciated. I was also wondering if my D15 tranny would be worst or better that his D16. I was planning on pulling it all as one clean piece and swapping.

Your car is obd1 and that motor is obd2a....you will have to re-wire a lot to get it to work.

You would be better off trying to find an obd1 motor

I knew about the OBD change, I just didn't think it would be that big of a deal. The cars engine runs off the OBD2 comp, so couldn't I just put the D16 harness into the car and call it good. How much re-wiring you talking about?
