How do you install coilovers???

Default How do you install coilovers???

I was just wondering how to install coilovers that claim to be adjustable and all you see is a spring and a threaded top i dont know how to install or adjust them http://www.slickcar.com/produc...=2652 something like this obviosly i know there not the most performance minded suspension parts i just want my car to be a little lower and stiffer.

those are coilover sleeves. they install over a damper basically the same way that the normal spring does.
the thredded part is installed over the shock body to give you adjustable height and spring compression at the same time. (not the optimal way to do this)

the problem with them is getting a shock that will somewhat match the spring rate. OEM shocks will not hold up for long and will have poor ride quality.
