1.) that's not a quick question

2.) a short and utterly unhelpful answer would be "Photoshop and lots of experience"

you can download photoshop of a bittorrent or limewire. It takes a while and may not work. your best bet would be to purchase and maybe search on google on how to use photoshop.

You can download a 30 day trial from adobe. But you're not going to learn everything there is to learn in 30 days. I can guarantee that.

go to school, and take a class on adobe photoshop. then either pay out the *** for it, or download some random copy off of limewire and hope that it works.
but your not just going to get answers like, this is how:
its not simple to learn photoshop, to really learn it.

i took half a year in highschool of it, a semester in college about it, and have been working with it on my own for another separate year and i can use it pretty well, but im sure there is a LOT that i don't know yet.

Ok

1. Take the colored photo and make a duplicate copy.
2. On the duplicate copy - coonvert to black and white or reduce saturation till it looks black and white.
3. Overlay the black and white copy overtop the colored picture.
4. use the eraser tool over areas that you want the color to show through.
5. Combine both layers.

Done like dinner ************

or just use the lasso tool and outline just the car and layer via copy...then select the original layer and desaturate it...then combine layers...i just hate having to do all that erasing
