photo editing!!!! how the hell
hey guys, i got a quick question.
how do you/what do you use to photo edit. i see some nice cars on here that have interesting photo edit. ie. car colored background black and white, or wheels/calipers colored, carblack and white.

go to school, and take a class on adobe photoshop. then either pay out the *** for it, or download some random copy off of limewire and hope that it works.
but your not just going to get answers like, this is how:
its not simple to learn photoshop, to really learn it.
i took half a year in highschool of it, a semester in college about it, and have been working with it on my own for another separate year and i can use it pretty well, but im sure there is a LOT that i don't know yet.

I took a Print Production course, and two graphics classes.

CS3 is out now.
i like cs2...its really easy to use...and with all the tutorials online...u can learn fast

I don't think we can talk about warez everyone.

Ok
1. Take the colored photo and make a duplicate copy.
2. On the duplicate copy - coonvert to black and white or reduce saturation till it looks black and white.
3. Overlay the black and white copy overtop the colored picture.
4. use the eraser tool over areas that you want the color to show through.
5. Combine both layers.
Done like dinner ************

or just use the lasso tool and outline just the car and layer via copy...then select the original layer and desaturate it...then combine layers...i just hate having to do all that erasing
