Default Fuel management

I know this dead horse has been beaten 100000x times, but after searching for an hour, I couldn't find anything that helped me out, so please be patient.

I've been working on my turbo project for over 2 years, and I am nearing completion. The only thing left, is to figure out what to do for fuel management.

Its a built LS/Vtec that will be running at around 17 psi with 780cc injectors, with a GT3076.

There is an aem ems unit being sold locally for a great price ( $650 cdn ) but after talking with my tuner, he said that for the power I am aiming for, the EMS might not be worth it, and suggested I go with Chrome. He said the EMS would over all be a bit better, but for the price difference between chrome & the EMS, it may not be worth it to me.

He also suggested a HKS unit, the F-con V pro ( i think ). I looked on the HKS site, but the info they have on that unit is very limited.

what kind of feedback can you guys give me for the EMS, HKS, or chrome?

the Chrome would be alot cheaper, but it also looks a little light on the features.

Thanks in advance for any help you guys can give me

I would go for the AEM EMS. There are so many tuner friendly features on it, I have tuned a few 100% street cars with 1100CC injectors and they start up like stock but it just take time and patience.

The HKS F-Con V pro is also a good unit but not everybody can tune it unless you are a HKS Pro dealer with the Software and hardware.

Never used Chrome...

Run Hondata s300, AEM EMS, Neptune RTP & be happy. There is no reason to skimp on an ems.

AEM is good ****, but it may be overkill. What is your power goal?

I used crome on my last setup, but then again I barely broke 400whp.

thanks for the replies guys.

my power goal is between 400-450.

I am sort of leaning towards the EMS, since my tuner cannot tune with the HKS unit.

1 more question, anyone know how the AEM UEGO wideband stacks up compared to the other widebands on the market?

Don't forget PowerFC. If you have a tuner who is familiar with it, it is a great system.
