Default How do you get out of the trunk? (5th gen accord)

Never know if this info might come in handy, but is there some sort of way to get out of the trunk if you were locked in? How can you fold the backseats from the trunk?

wow you planning to dispose of some bodies or something?? anyway to answer your questions...yes you can get out if you were locked in your trunk...underneith your tail light the one in the windo is a little lever thing that you pull that is shaped like a "T" you grap it it unlocks the back seat and voila! your out....but you know you can always fix this by tieing there hands or just cutting them off in general.... lol

If you look by the lock on the trunk, you will see a little lever. You either push it down or up and it release's the lock.

Not sure about the 5th gen, but on the 6th, there's one lever on the trunk lid (for the latch) and another one for the back seat. They both glow in the dark.

Here's a trunk story - my wife's car when we met was a '79 LTD which has a very large trunk - in '99 I sold it after buying my '99 Accord. When I was selling the LTD, this squirrely guy was looking it over for his girlfriend, he was covered with tattoos and just had this look about him, I later found out that he was an ex-con. While showing him this car I pointed out that the trunk was big enough for a few people. The woman bought the car ($400).

A few months later I see the car on the TV news. Turned out that he had gotten mad at the woman, stabbed her quite a few times times, threw her in the trunk and drove to a friend's house about 70 miles away. The friend called police and they got the woman out, she lived and he's now back in jail.

I have a trunk story for ya. I rode in the trunk of an MX 6 from Stockton Ca to San Fransisco back when I was in college. I got to play D.J. swaping discs in the CD changer. We had a blast on that trip. It never crossed my mind that we could get rear ended and I'd be dead, or even die of carbon monoxide poisoning. I did however keep the trunk lid cracked from time to time to get some fresh air.

~~~~sigh~~~~~ memory lane~~~~sigh~~~~~
