The O2 sensor is probably on the exhaust pipe just before the catalytic converter and after the last pipe of the header. It is threaded into the top of pip and will probably be a complete bitch to get out, be liberal with the WD40 and use a big adjustable wrench, maybe even with a breaker bar. Unplug the wiring from the plug several inches up. This is based upon my experiences with the 5th Gen, should be similar for your car.
thanks
would i need to go under the car?
i saw it between the radiator fan and the exhaust manifold

Anti-seize is an agent like Liquid Wrench or WD40 that will help break what will most likely be a threaded bolt that is corroded shut.
Buy a new o2 sensor. Do not waste your time and money at a junkyard for this part. 02 sensors are often overlooked and should be replaced every so often to ensure your car is running properly. There is no telling what condition the 02 sensor you would get from a junkyard is in.
