just get a DC JDM 4-1, it already has the 2.5" collector.

I have both the USDM DC 4:1 and the JDM DC 4:1.

While the design is the same, the primaries on the DC are bigger on the JDM version.

I'm not sure if the collector mod would be worth it or not, but I do know that the JDM version performs way better than the USDM version.

Not on the one I modded.

If you want to do this I'd get the usdm 94-98 GSR DC 4-1 header and mod it.

Interesting. I have a 2000 Si, and I got the USDM DC 6 years ago from another Si owner...perhaps there is a smaller B16 model? I just measured the external widths: USDM = 1.683" and JDM = 1.866

I do know that when installing and removing the two, I can fit my ratchet between the primaries of the USDM, but I need an extension or deep socket to get between the JDM primaries.

Either way, have fun with your build!
