Default quick question: dealership keyless entry alarm

if i bought a remote that had a different fcc id than the one that i currently have, would the new remote work? thanks

You do need the buy the correct remote for your car. Just because it looks the same does not mean it is. If you have a 99-00 Honda this is how you program it.
