Hey, I couldn't really find anything searching so plz don't flame if this has been answered already.
Is there anybody else out there running turbos on their accord? If so - anybody know how much space there is? My friend just turbo'ed his '01 DX (F23A5) with a turbo specialties turbo kit (since they seem to be the only people in the world who make accord turbo kits, and it's not even an F23 - it's an F22 kit and he had to modify some stuff (like the bolt holes on the downpipe).
Now I realize that you can piece one together which is cheaper 9 times out of 10 but I'm looking into just buying a kit and (well I'm just researching right now, I don't even have an accord, thinking about selling my civic to buy an accord, just trying to plan ahead) because it's everything in one shot - built for that car. No guess matching or flange welding required (and I can't weld).
So what this long *** post boils down to - is can you keep your AC and PS w/ boost? A lot of pple don't care about that, they only care about power, power, most power - whatever - I like my AC and my PS - can I do without them? Yeah, would I rather have them than not? Definitely.
I know Edelbrock always have kits for civics that'll save your AC, but A) They're expensive as ****, and B) they don't seem to make any for accords.
Also, if I do decide to piece one together, which mani would be best, the ramhorns are obviously great when it comes to performance - but I'd be looking for something that can hold the turbo closer to the engine so it can still fit w/ the condensor 'n all. So a log would probably do that best, right?
My friend's '01 accord engine bay is a TIGHT fit - and I don't think he has AC (or it doesn't work - or something, but he may still have the condensor) - but I'm more worried about if I get a 5th gen - wouldn't the bay be smaller for less room?
Any info on this would be thanks, I'm not in the mood to ditch all my **** but turbo companies that make turbos for F's seem to be rare
.

Theres plenty of turbo kits and plenty of room in the Accord bay if its a 4banger.
Drag and Fmax both have kits. Fmax is now Turbonetics now I believe. I think both kits allow A/C and P/S.
Ramhorns are hard to come by for the F series. SSautocrap makes one if you want to try it. All others are simply log manifolds which perform fine.

i don't know what accords you are talking about.. theres really no room in an accord.. my turbo is two cm. from my rad and my down pipe is .5in away from my alternator.
a lgo manifold will suit you fine...my buddie had a setup that kept his PS and AC...LSDmotorsports.com is were he got it from.....there's not much room but there's room ytou have to modify a few things like the front motor mount but not too much else...but who needs PS?? it's for old people
