h22 chokes!!!! HHHHEEEELLLPPPP!!!!!!!!!!!
let me friend drive my car and he misshifted and let the rpms drop and put it into gear. The car was running fine and shut-off!!! turned it on and then the car idled rough then if u gas it hard it chokes bad and then shuts off...by my experience i think it bent a valve or so but i did compression test and they where all 250psi across the board on the dime wouldnt it be diff numbers but mines was perfect normal.....so idk what can it be no lose of compression...please any answers would be great!!!!
Well that's good that there's no bent valves.. Check the timing belt, coulda slipped a tooth. How high exactly was it revved? It is still running on all cylinders fine? does it work fine at idle? When does it choke?
he was atleast at 7000 to 7500rpm and misshifted.... its rough tot turn on and it sounded like a jumped tooth u no but there couldnt be a brnt valve if i had 250psi rie??? wat else should i do to see if ther is bent valves ...wen u get it to idke it sounds mad low and weak and then wen u rev it it chokes hard and and chokes and then i let it go and rev it slowly and then clears up and revs high with no prob i think it might be the timeing.... what do u suggest?
correction.... somehow my H22 passed the compression the first time we did it, but failed the LEAKDOWN.... popped off the head and BOOM... bent exhaust valves..
Same symptoms as you're experiencing..... Missed 4th and hit 2nd shift from the top of third at 95mph.... The motor saw somewhere around 11,500rpm
