I am painting my Acura Integra

I have 3 quarts of OMNI PPG Paint

And Enough clear coat, hardener, and reducer.

my MAIN question is how long should I wait for every coat for the paint, meaning how long of a flash time. and how long of a flash time for the clear coat after when finished applying the base paint and how long for every clear coat applied.

Your best bet would be to have the paint supplier provide the data/tech info on the exact product, because it does vary. It depends on the room temp, reducer temp,hardener rate. I'm sure about 15 min. between coats will be in the safe zone, depending on the details of the product. PPG usually has reducer in the clear mix and 1:1 base, thats a lot of solvent, if your a noob, your better off to keep it on the safe side.

hey good luck. i just painted my db.

im not sure about your stuff. but let the base totally dry. about 30-45 minutes between coats. you can clear the next day or after alittle bit, like an hour idk. clear shouldnt dry long. by the time you get around the whole car you can almost clear right away. let it dry until its tacky or you can slide your finger across or so. everything also depends on temperature and reducers/activators. also the brand of paint. ive never used omni.

btw what color and how much for those?

 

Did I confuse you some how? I was pretty clear. If you want an accurate answer your going to have to describe the individual products and your conditions. Base can flash off in little as a few minutes or much longer, it all depends.
