Default twm short shifter

hello. I just installed the TWM short shift adapter kit into my 05. i would strongly suggest it. just wanted to get it out there. great product and it gives a really good shift through reduction.

20 minutes and a cordless drill.

PS. I've had mine for over a year and a half, and have had no problems with it.

Does the stock shift **** fit, and also how much shorter in height is the TWM shifter than the OEM one?

no difference in high
and its the stock stick
all u do is install a piece that bolts on after u drill a hole in the stick.

the twm short shifter kit is just an adapter piece not the actual shifter assembly. If you are looking for a complete replacement look for the buddy club or revo short shifter.

Yes sir. It's considered a "Short Throw" kit, not a "Short Shifter".

Ahhh okay i see, i know the difference between the two, but could someone take a pic of what you have to do like a step by step to show me how to modify your shifter for this application? im kinda curious and maybe possibly pick one up, would like to have a more " sporty " throw with my 04 ex and i want it to last as long as i have the car, also is it reversable to go back to stock length with no problems, i dont want to demolish my car for something that might not work.

You can remove it if you like. All you do, is drill a small 10mm hole into the arm for the shifter linkage. It won't effect the overall performance of the shifting mechanism when removed.

I think he was telling gixxerman that it came with instructions since he asked for pics of step by step directions.
