I bought a hidden amplified antenna about 2 years ago (on eBay) and just never got around to installing it until now. The only problem is that I lost the instructions. I drew a diagram of the antenna. I know that it is supposed to have power, since I remember the auction saying there is supposed to be a red light on the amplifier when it has power. Anybody know how everything is supposed to be hooked up? Also, where did you hide this if you installed it in your car?

answering my own question ...

 

Not to jack the thread or seem like im stalking slomies, but how well does this antenna work. I kind of got angry with mine while trying to take it off, long story short its in several pieces now. It claims to pick up Fm well but how does the am work, is there much static?

 

hey i have the same one that i just installed today.. I just pluged it in, and for the power i slice it into the plug that goes into the Antenna (radio lead yellow and white wire) and i put the antenna in the rear window. Oh the wire that you have mark for ground is not a ground it is for the antenna. You can move it around til you get a good signal.

 

Just wanted to add that I tried this antenna after my frustration with the SharkII. This antenna seemed to have worse reception than the shark. Yes the power lined was hooked up..

I went back to the shark and now im debating on XM.. little tired of the daily static.
