Default will a d16y8 intake fit a d16a6?

Just as the title says. i found a good deal on an aem intake and was wondering wether this would be compatible with my car. thanks.

yes it will the a6 z6 y8 all the dseries intake and headers are interchangeable exept the dohc zc intake manni.

Minus the fact it was made for a 96-00 Civic instead of a CRX. A intake is just a tube so technically one for an LS1 would fit the motor too.

I'm going to say no but i'd have to see a picture to be sure. The AEM intake for the CRX is shaped to go around the battery and I really doubt the Civic one is shaped even close to that.

You're probably going to run into problems with your underhood battery unless you've already relocated it.

You may have to modify it to fit, remember the ones for the y8 are bent up for an EK chassis, not an EF.
